In all honesty, you will probably drive by and think nah because it is not a crazy fancy place. But you NEED to take a chance. This, by far, is one of my favorite little Mexican restaurants in Chicago. The food is authentic, tastes great, and the salsas are how they should be.
My favorite is the nachos de carne asada but, since I have been trying to become vegan, the veggie burritos are pretty good also. The quesadillas de al pastor are to die for.
I can talk all day about all the food I’ve eaten here and the prices are pretty reasonable.
The staff is great, I arrive and we laugh and have a good time. But when you get your food, they know how to respect you also.
The horchata is good and they now have slushees which are also very good. Come and try it. You will NOT regret your decision.
Also, the owner is very nice and always has a smile on her face. Just what you need after a long hard day at work!
